"My purpose is to offer true piano lovers, whether professional or amateur, the best working conditions for an intensive week-long course.
The wild beauty of Ushant makes it an ideal place to encourage all musicians to improve their practice of their art."
What is the purpose of
this course?
"Music is a sovereign art which tolerates no approximation.
Most of the time, these approximations are the result of technical and mechanical problems which generally prevent a logical and complete musical construction.
"Over and above these problems, there is a question of inner attentiveness, and the discovery of this inner attentiveness must go hand in hand with self-knowledge.
"This intensive work of mastery and reciprocal attentiveness can produce a very strong awareness.
"But it is with patience and determination that I decide with the student to construct the new quality of work that he still has to develop, without complacency, after the week's study."
