Flute

Isabelle Duval is a Menuhin Foundation laureate and holds the C.A. She teaches flute and chamber music at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental du Val d'Yerres (91) and collaborates regularly with the Pôles Supérieurs.

His curiosity leads him to be interested in a wide range of repertoires and to seek constant collaboration with contemporary composers. His work is also oriented towards improvisation and jazz. Her recordings, praised by the press, reflect the eclecticism of her approach. As a member of various groups, she performs in festivals devoted to baroque music, improvisation, contemporary music and jazz ("Ars Musica" in Brussels, contemporary music festivals in Rome and Madrid, "Musiques Démesurées" in Clermont-Ferrand, Baroque festivals in Sablé sur Sarthe, Arques-la-Bataille, Namur, Pontoise, "Al improvviso" in Gliwice, Poland, Jazz festivals in Nice and Montauban, "Jazz à Vienne"... »).

Among his recordings: "Multifonia 95", a disc devoted to Spanish contemporary music (Empreinte Digitale/Harmonia Mundi). "Musique Française au Féminin" for the Triton label, dedicated to the French music of 20th century women composers. The magazine Diapason will award 5 diapasons to this record which will also be "coup de coeur" of the website Resmusica and the magazine "La Revue du son". With the Aromates ensemble, she recorded 3 albums for the Alpha label around Arabo-Andalusian music. The first album, "Jardin de Myrthe", a favourite of the Fnac, was a huge success and was ranked by the magazine Musique Info as one of the best-selling albums of all styles. Isabelle Duval is currently a member of several ensembles: Aromates, Alborada (flute and harp), Solid'air, and solo flute of the Coruscant orchestra.
