Lise Berthaud

In September 2013, Lise Berthaud was selected for the prestigious BBC New Generation Artist programme for the 2013-2015 seasons. She was invited to perform Paul Hindemith's viola concerto der Schwanendreher with the BBC Symphony conducted by Sakari Oramo, and later was a guest of the BBC Philharmonic, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. In September 2014, she made her debut at the prestigious BBC Proms Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in William Walton's Viola Concerto with the BBC Symphony conducted by Andrew Litton. In the same year she recorded Harold in Italy with the Orchestre National de Lyon conducted by Leonard Slatkin.

As a soloist, she is the guest of orchestras such as the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, the Hong-Kong Sinfonietta, the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, the Sinfonia Varsovia, the Musiciens du Louvre, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Wroclaw Philharmonic, the Orchestre de Cannes, the Walloon Chamber Orchestra, the Sao Paulo Philharmonic Orchestra,... She plays under the direction of Paul Mc Creesh, Leonard Slatkin, Marc Minkowski, François Leleux, Fabien Gabel, or Emmanuel Krivine who takes her on tour with Harold in Italy and the Orchestre Français des Jeunes when she is only 20.
