Mireille Jardon

Violinist

Born in the Allier region, Mireille Jardon began studying the violin at the age of 7. She studied music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she obtained a First Prize in Chamber Music in the class of Jean Hubeau, and a First Prize in Violin in the class of Pierre Doukan. She then continued her training in the advanced cycle, benefiting from the lessons of M. Neeman, Franco Gulli and Salvatore Accardo.

From 82 to 84 Mireille Jardon was a member of the European Community Orchestra under the direction of Sir Georg Solti and Claudio Abbado. She was admitted to the solo violin class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she participated in numerous events. At that time, she also regularly took part in the program Perspective du 20e Siècle in chamber music. Mireille Jardon joined the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra in 1987.
