A passionate artist, free and committed

BIOGRAPHY

Some have spoken of Lydia Jardon's piano playing as a mysterious alchemy of ardour and distance from the text of unquenchable passion and meticulous control of expression. This paradoxical statement can in fact be applied to Lydia Jardon's entire personality: fundamentally passionate, fiery and intense, she is also a thoughtful artist who never ceases to commit herself and to imagine the most varied projects.

"Leading the way in the Himalayas of the piano".
Pierre Gervasoni, Le Monde

A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and holder of a concert degree with unanimity from the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Lydia Jardon is also a laureate of the Cziffra Foundation and the Miłosz Magin International Competition. She has performed all over the world in recital or concerto. Training at the highest level and a flawless career are not enough to sum up the artistic temperament of this singular pianist. Out of the ordinary, Lydia Jardon? Without doubt, by the different forms that her musical action takes, which she never leads outside of the human.

"Lydia Jardon shows a predilection for eruptive scores, those that require the intrepid élan of the virtuoso as much as the attention to detail.
Nicolas Southon, Pianist
