AR RE-SE ("those" in Breton) is an independent label created in the iodized wake of the MUSICIENNES À OUESSANT festival in 2001. Determined to distinguish itself from labels with commercial objectives, AR RE-SE draws its roots from a fierce desire to exhume talented, unknown or misinterpreted composers from the silences of history. It is a mission off the beaten track, in a spirit of freedom, to explore, to work and to make heard all this wonderful, poetic and musical world that lies dormant around us.
