Lydia Jardon

Since the age of 11, Lydia has dedicated her life to the piano in two ways: As an international pianist with recognized talent, she puts her experience and humanism at the service of transmission through teaching at her School and throughout the world during her concerts. She has developed an original method whose results are exceptional at any age, when the motivation is there!

Anna Takounseun

Anna practiced piano in Hong Kong from childhood to adulthood. As a mother of two children, she entrusted Lydia with the task of starting them on the piano and supervised their work on a daily basis for several years. It is from this successful experience that Anna's collaboration as a teacher, with Lydia at Yaya School, since 2019, was born.

Alexis Pin

Silver Medal (Virtuosity)

Alexis Pin joined the YAYA Piano School in September 2012, at the age of 11. Living in Nemours in Seine et Marne, about 100 kilometers from Paris, he takes the train alone every Saturday to attend his piano class. After 8 months of intensive work with his teacher, he enters the Claude Kahn Competition for the first time, at the Middle 2 virtuosity level, with Bach's Prelude in D minor (book 2) and Mozart's Turkish March, with which he obtains a first medal, which earns him the right to play at the Salle Gaveau in 2013.

Still under the teaching of the director of the YAYA School, Alexis continues to participate annually in the Claude Kahn Competition from which he won in 2018 the silver medal of the Claude Kahn Grand Prix, ex-aequo with Jiayu Yé, also a student of Lydia Jardon. It is with the 5th Polonaise in F sharp minor opus 44 and the Octave Etude No. 10 opus 25 that he won this prize.

A few weeks later, Alexis obtained his BAC with honors, having prepared for the MUSIC option. But if Alexis chooses to focus on his studies in order to work in medicine, he does not move away from the piano which has become his passion. He managed to work on his piano for an hour a day during his first year of medical school, to take a class with Lydia Jardon every two weeks, and to help his parents at the family restaurant in Nemours every weekend.

Jiayu Ye

Silver Medal (Virtuosity)

In 2004, Jiayu was awarded the first prize in the China National Music Competition. The following year, she was admitted to the Instrumental and Singing Department at the Wenzhou Children's Art School. In 2008, she was awarded the Lu Chi Scholarship Artistic Award. At the age of 14, she gave a solo concert in Shanghai. In March 2018, she won the second prize for virtuosity at the Claude Kahn Competition, ex aequo with Alexis Pin. At the end of 2018, she enrolled at the YAYA School to perfect her skills with Lydia Jardon, while at the same time completing a full course at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.
