The Tchaika Trio
Violin / Cello / Piano
Trio Tchaika was created by three young Russian musicians: Elena Khabarova (violin), Sofiya Shapiro (cello) and Alexandra Matvievskaya (piano). The young women give concerts and participate in festivals in Russia, France and Italy, playing works from different periods: baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary music.
The trio studied in Italy with the famous musicians of the Trio di Parma. The art of the Tchaika Trio inspired the talented violin maker Marcello Bellei to create identical violin and cello - "twin instruments". They thus offer a unique and exceptional resonance.
